Peace
«Peace» — Fabio Zacchei (Italy). The gun, tied with a knot, represents a powerful symbol against violence. Made of iron and stainless steel by the blacksmith/artist Fabio Zacchei from Castelnuovo Berardenga, it is 7.11 metres long and weighs some 250 kilos. The traffic island in the middle of Pievasciata is a perfect place to install this work. In a few simple curves this symbol conveys the most fervent prayer of humanity: not victory, but peace.
