Born at Ulm in Germany 10 October 1954, Johannes Pfeiffer lives and works between Turin (Italy) and Berlin (Germany). In 1980 he received an Economics and Commerce degree from Berlin’s Free University, after which he studied sculpture at the Accademie delle Belle Arti first in Rome, then Carrara. He has been awarded various prizes and scholarships in Germany. In 1991 his contribution to an aesthetic solution to address Pisa’s leaning tower was particularly appreciated by critics.
