Warhol en Chianti

‘Warhol in Chianti’ – Elia Casini (Italy). This mosaic is made of 116.000 transparent glass tiles the back of which is painted with Pantone colours. The outstanding symbol of traditional viniculture, the bunch of grapes, is rendered in the contemporary manner of Andy Warhol and his famous paintings by the young graphic designer Luca Bessi. The 3.60 metre wide panel is fixed on the Enel cabin at Pievasciata.
