U.R. Christiansen

Ursula Reuter-Christiansen was born in 1943 in Trier, Germany. 1969 she moved to Denmark, where she still lives today. Between 1964 and 1965 she studied literature at the “University of Marburg”, in Germany. From 1965 to 1969 she attended the “Academy of Fine Arts” in Duesseldorf, where she studied under professor Joseph Beuys.

1982 she started teaching at the school for art, where she stayed until 1984. From 1992 until 1996 she was professor at the “Academy for Art” in Strasburg, France. Since 1997 she is professor at the “Royal Danish Academy for Art” for visual arts.
