Pila Aldana
Pilar Aldana Mendez was born on March 12, 1963 in Bogota, Colombia. She started working as a sculptor in 1985 in Spain and is living since then in Barcelona. She creates small sculptures as well as monumental works and installations.
Pilar installed monumental sculptures in Mauritania, Germany, Egypt, Italy, Austria, Poland, France, Argentina, Switzerland and Andorra. Her preferred materials are glass, granite, iron and wood.
She participated in shows throughout Europe, Colombia and Japan
