Cor Litjens
Cor Litjens was born in Nijmegen, Holland in 1956. From 1976 to 1981 Litjens studied art education at the «Tehatex College» in Nijmegen. He then decided to become a professional artist and opened his own studio in 1981.
Together with other artists he started a gallery and a sculpture park in Beuningen. This was an experimental park, where young artists could test and realise their concepts.
In 1981 he got his first important commission for a monumental artwork and since then has been working solely as an artist.
