Xavier B. Fontenla | chiantisculpturepark

Xavier Barrera Fontenla was born on May 21, 1968 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, son of a Spanish artists family. He attended the High School of Fine Arts, the Ceramics School, of which he is currently professor, and the National Musical Academy in Buenos Aires. While studying techniques of polyester resin and sculptural design with the sculptor J.C. Distefano, he started working on monumental sculptures. Presently he is working on the development of a sculpture park in La Falda, Cordoba, Argentina.
